TAPITAP sells hand-woven rugs and tapestries, as well as general home décor items.
TAPITAP also offers custom-made rugs and tapestries.

3. Pricing Information
Prices:
Prices are clearly displayed on the online store archive, product pages, cart page and checkout page. Shipping is free within Eu countries and is indicated clearly on the checkout page.
For custom-made products, the price is set before work begins, with a non-refundable 50% deposit required upfront. Shipping is free within EU countries.
International Pricing:
Our default currency is Czech Crown (CZK).
4. Payment Methods
Accepted Payment Methods:
We accept payments through credit/debit cards, PayPal, direct bank transfer, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Cash or direct bank transfer is accepted in case of personal pickup.
Additional Fees:
We do not charge any extra fees for using the available payment methods.
5. Shipping Information
Shipping Methods:
We offer shipping or personal pickup on all orders. The shipping is free of charge within European union (EU) countries. Personal pickup in TAPITAP studio in Prague is free of charge.
International Shipping:
We ship to all EU countries.
Shipping outside the EU is available upon request. If you are located outside the EU and wish to place an order, please contact us before purchasing. Shipping costs, delivery times, and any applicable customs duties or taxes must be agreed upon individually prior to dispatch. We reserve the right to decline international orders if no suitable shipping arrangement can be made.

Shipping Restrictions:
We do not currently have any restrictions on shipping.
6. Return and Refund Policy
Return Policy:
Customers may return eligible products within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and appropriately packaged.
Refund Process:
Please contact us before sending a return.
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you within 7 days and issue a refund to your bank account.
Exclusions:
Custom-made products are non-refundable. Custom-made products cannot be returned because they are made to the customer’s specifications and can be seen before production.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
The 50% deposit required for custom-made products is non-refundable.
Return Shipping Costs:
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Orders that originally qualified for free shipping may be subject to a deduction of the original shipping costs from the refund amount in case of a full or partial return. Free shipping is offered as a courtesy and is conditional upon the completion of the order.
7. Warranty Information
Warranty Period:
We offer a 1-year warranty on all rugs and tapestries covering craftsmanship defects such as structural issues or unexpected unraveling.
What Does the Warranty Cover:
This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
Our rugs are designed for home use only and are not suitable for high-traffic public spaces.
Determination of improper use will be made by the seller based on the condition and circumstances of the returned item.
8. Privacy Policy & Data Protection
Customer Data Collection:
We collect customer data during the checkout process, through the contact form, and via the custom order form.
Data Storage and Protection:
Your data is stored securely and protected with SSL encryption. We use trusted third-party services such as WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, and our hosting provider to manage data and process orders.
Cookies and Tracking:
We use cookies to improve your browsing experience and for basic analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
GDPR Compliance:
We collect and process customer data only as necessary for order fulfillment and customer service.

10. Customs and VAT (for International Sales)
TAPITAP is based in the Czech Republic and is not VAT-registered. Customers outside the European Union are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or fees applicable in their country. These charges are not included in product or shipping prices.
International Sales:
TAPITAP ships internationally. Please make sure to review our shipping policy in the previous section for further details. If you’re ordering from outside the EU, please contact us in advance to arrange shipping.
Customs Duties:
Customers are responsible for paying any customs duties or taxes that may be applied in their country upon receipt of the goods. These charges are not included in the product or shipping prices.
In case of returns from outside the EU, customs charges are non-refundable.
VAT for International Sales:
Prices on the website include VAT for Czech Republic-based customers.
11. Limitation of Liability
TAPITAP is not liable for any damage or loss that occurs during shipping, once the goods have been handed over to the shipping carrier.
We are not responsible for delays or delivery failures caused by events outside our control (e.g., customs delays, weather, or other force majeure situations).
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. TAPITAP is not liable for costs, delays, or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
We are also not liable for any indirect damages, including lost profits or business interruption, resulting from the use or inability to use our products or services.
